This is a community site for the hamlet of Burlawn. Burlawn is some one and a half miles to the south of Wadebridge in the county of Cornwall. In the parish of St. Breock, with Forestry Commission woodland including Hustyns Wood and Bishops Wood close to the south. Much of the hamlet has views towards the pine trees on the slopes of the steep valleys or out onto open farmland looking east or west.
Some of the local roads through the woodland have steep inclines and many of the roads in the area are single track with passing places requiring a working knowledge of reverse gear when driving.
Less than half a mile to the north east of Burlawn (as the crow flies) is the camel river and the camel trail popular with walkers, horse riders and cyclists.
